IO Data HDPN-U500 has a capacity of 500 GB external hard drive that can be backing up the contents of your camcorder directly via USB 2.0 cable connection. With an external hard drive on this one, you have no need to worry again in the camcorder will run out of memory because it is so low, you can move the data in this camcorder to your hard drive so you can erase the previous data and can be reused. TransferJet technology from Sony that we have discussed is likely to be trend in the near future. USB IO Data TransferJet (USB2-TJC) is one tool that will support the TransferJet technology and can be used for computer based Windows / Mac via USB connection.
