Sushi restaurant in Japan already used RFID technology that has functions to dispose the sushi that wasn’t fresh anymore, automatically count the sushi we have eaten including the price, informing the chef about the sushi that is most wanted at the time and also count the plate on the conveyor.

To use this technology, RFID chip is attached in every backside of plate, therefore every plate can be monitored using computerised system. RFID system really help to identify which sushi which isn’t fresh anymore by reading the date and time recorded on the chip so the expired sushi is easily detected to be disposed.
